Ruff, ruff
in the doghouse again....
god, i need to find a job so i can get the hell out of my house and away from my mother, who is increasingly making it clear that i have worn out my welcome.
there are so many things that i need to do right now, and i'm in that state of paralysis which occurs when you have so menay things that should be done right away, and you're trying to figure out which way is the best way to multitask it all.
meanwhile, my sister's downstairs in the kitchen chatting with my parents about class credits and all of that "oh woe is me, it's so hard to go to an ivy league school" when really she's moving in for the kill because she knows that my parents are pissed at me.
she's been doing it all summer. it's getting old. big fucking deal, you go to princeton. that does not make you better than anyone else, despite all of the pampering and what not that you get when you're there. she had just better hope that she gets all that financial aid that she needs, otherwise, she too might end up at a (gasp!) state institution with all of the other common poor folk that she was like once, but has already learned to look down upon with contempt and disdain. someone needs to remind her that she doesn't have that degree yet.
as for me, the one who actually had a college degree, i get paid shit to put up with shit from customers and employees. this shit has got to end. i guess what i'll do right now is work on my cover letters for the jobs that i'm applying to today and then get my laundry started. while the laundry's working i can start straightening up my room and get all my bills paid. then some tv. tv will be nice, and if mom decides to give me any shit, i'll just show her all of the jobs that i applied to today.
dammit, this sucks.
