I think I drained my bamage.

I seriously need to become gainfully employed. Soon.

I just sat through a double feature that I'm ashamed of. Especially since I wasn't watching them with beer and friends for the sole purpose of making stupid comments. I watched these films back to back, by myself.

Eurotrip and Love Don't Cost A Thing.

Sheer boredom and poverty have finally gotten the best of me. I just watched two of the lamest teen movies of recent history. I wasn't even a teenager when these movies were released! And the whole time I was watching these movies, I remember laughing once. It was somewhere during Eurotrip but I don't remember what part.

I seriously believe I did significant damage to my brain. Bad movies will do that to you. So will MTV, VH1, and BET. Horrifically bad damage in excessive amounts. But limited exposure is reversible.

Nonetheless, I feel dirty. I'm too much of a movie snob to have wasted my time with that mess. I blame my parents. If they were willing to shell out the extra bucks to we could get the Sundance Channel and Turner Classic Movies, I wouldn't have this problem. I wouldn't have to resort to such destructive behavior. A growing, artistic, liberal early-twenty-something can not live on the Independent Film Channel alone! It doesn't matter that we have every Starz and HBO channel under the sun! I need culture! And BBC America!!

At this rate, I'm going to be a Degrassi junkie by May. Just in time to mark the one year anniversary of my unfortunate graduation from the Happiest Place on Earth aka College. And trust me: we don't want me becoming a Degrassi junkie.

Off to begin my cultural revitalization by continuing my first ever read of any work by Dickens, Great Expectations. How is it that I managed to get a liberal arts degree without ever reading a page of Dickens? That's another story for another day, my friends.
